The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20 International series against Zimbabwe, with Tawhid Hridoy retained as captain.
The squad marks the return of all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, batter Yasir Ali Chowdhury and fast bowler Md Shaif Uddin, who have all been recalled to the T20I setup.
Experienced opener Litton Kumer Das and pace spearhead Taskin Ahmed have not been included after being granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to participate in the 2026 Lanka Premier League. The duo will represent their respective franchises in the tournament.
Middle-order batter Shamim Hossain has also been left out of the squad following Bangladesh’s recent Test series defeat to Zimbabwe.
The batting unit includes Parvez Hossain Emon, Tanzid Hasan and Mohammed Saif Hassan, while Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan will provide the wicketkeeping option. Shak Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed and Rishad Hossain headline the spin attack.
The pace department will be led by Mustafizur Rahman, Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam, alongside the returning Shaif Uddin and Abdul Gaffar Saqlain.
Bangladesh will play all three T20Is at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. The matches are scheduled for July 15, 17 and 19, with each game starting at 4:30 pm Bangladesh Standard Time.
