British Prime Minister Keir Starmer voiced approval of the recently concluded agreement on the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s peace initiative for Gaza, and insisted it be carried out in full without delay.

“I welcome the news that a deal has been reached on the first stage of President Trump’s peace plan for Gaza,” Starmer said in an official statement. He added that the agreement “must now be implemented in full, without delay, and accompanied by the immediate lifting of all restrictions on life-saving humanitarian aid to Gaza.”

Starmer’s remarks come amid international attention on the deal, which aims to pause hostilities, secure the release of hostages, and open humanitarian access. He underscored that securing the delivery of essential aid should not lag behind the political deal.

Observers note that while the agreement marks a diplomatic step forward, the real challenge will lie in its practical execution and ensuring all parties adhere to the commitments made.
