Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed has been appointed the ‘Face of Walton AC’, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC said in a press release.
The agreement was signed at the Walton corporate office in Dhaka on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at noon. Senior Executive Director Amin Khan signed the contract on behalf of Walton.
Walton Hi-Tech Additional Managing Director Nazrul Islam Sarker, Walton AC Chief Business Officer Md Tanvir Rahman, Senior Executive Directors Md Firoj Alam, Abdullah-Al-Mamun and Md Shahjalal Hossain Limon, along with other senior officials, were present.
Taskin Ahmed said Walton has been associated with Bangladesh’s sports arena since the early stages of his career and described the partnership as a matter of pride.
Walton AC Chief Business Officer Md Tanvir Rahman said Taskin Ahmed’s inclusion would support the brand’s ongoing marketing and positioning efforts as the country’s leading air conditioner brand.
Walton AC said it has received the Best Brand Award for the past two consecutive years and that demand for its products is increasing in domestic and overseas markets. The company said its air conditioners use artificial intelligence and Internet of Things-based features and environmentally friendly R-290 refrigerant.
Walton added that its products are marketed after receiving quality certification from international testing laboratory Nasdat-UTS and that its smart inverter chiller has been installed at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and General Hospital in Singapore.
