Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has expressed strong condemnation following the United Nations commission’s report accusing Israel of committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

In a recent Facebook post, Rahman called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action against Israel, stressing the urgency of protecting the lives of innocent Palestinians.

“Genocide is an undeniable crime against humanity, and the international community must act swiftly to stop Israel’s atrocities,” Rahman wrote. “The findings of the UN commission should serve as a wake-up call for all nations to come together and ensure an immediate ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.”

Rahman further emphasized the moral responsibility of the global community to act with courage and stand in solidarity with Palestinians, whose very existence is under threat. He called on Bangladeshis across the world to use their collective voices to demand action from their leaders, urging them to take a firm stand against Israel’s actions in Gaza.

“We must not allow history to repeat itself,” Tarique Rahman said. He called for an end to the violence and the protection of Palestinian rights. His post echoed the sentiment that Bangladesh must continue to uphold its strong stance in supporting Palestine in the face of Israel’s continued military operations.
