Every single English Premier League (EPL) match this season will stream live in Bangladesh thanks to a major new deal announced by digital platform Bongo and partner Myco. The agreement ensures fans can watch all 380 games in high definition.

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Tabith Awal, speaking at the launch event in Dhaka’s Intercontinental Hotel on Sunday 17th August, welcomed the deal but emphasised a bigger goal: using this exposure to help Bangladeshi players reach European leagues.

“This platform showcases our passion for football globally,” Awal stated. “We are a football-mad nation. Now, the world can see it.” He connected the EPL’s massive global audience of 4.5 billion directly to this ambition.

Awal revealed concrete steps are already underway. “We are actively working to place player data on international platforms like Transfermarkt,” he said. “Simultaneously, we are utilising specialised software to analyse this data. Our objective is clear: to identify opportunities for our best players in second or third-tier leagues within bigger European nations.”

He highlighted the success of the women’s national team as evidence of potential and stressed the importance of global visibility. BFF Vice President Fahad Karim added his hope that Bongo would eventually stream Bangladesh national team matches, enhanced by analytical data to engage fans further.

Bongo co-founder Faiaz Taher shared his personal excitement about bringing the EPL to Bangladesh, recalling how it fuelled his own love for football. He announced plans for a Fantasy League and stated Bongo’s core aim is to give the younger generation access to top football “to watch, learn, and ultimately step onto the pitch themselves”.

The partnership marks a new chapter for sports streaming in Bangladesh. Fans can subscribe via Season Pass (650 Tk), Monthly (110 Tk), or Daily Pass (25 Tk) options. More significantly, it serves as a potential catalyst for President Awal’s mission to place Bangladeshi players on European pitches.
