The National Citizen Party (NCP) has expressed deep concern over reports of widespread online leaks of SSC 2026 exam papers by fraud rings, as aired by a private TV channel.
The party said no visible action has yet been taken by authorities, calling the incident a clear sign of irresponsibility by the Ministry of Education.
In a statement, NCP condemned the ministry’s focus on exam hall supervision over systemic reforms, noting that while officials speak constantly about preventing cheating, they have ignored the far more serious issue of question leaks.
According to media reports, the leaks began on 20 April, yet no effective measures have followed.
NCP said teachers and invigilators are sufficient for hall monitoring and criticised Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon for “making reels in exam halls instead of ensuring administrative oversight.”
It warned that negligence by the minister and ministry is causing irreparable damage to the education system. it also demanded a thorough investigation into the leaks and exemplary punishment for those involved, stressing that continuing exams without resolving the issue would be unacceptable.
