Southeast Bank opens new Gulshan branch

Southeast Bank PLC has relocated its Gulshan Branch to a larger and more modern premises in Dhaka’s Gulshan Model Town to enhance customer service, with operations beginning on 28 June 2026 at Hena Suvastu Skyline Avenue, the bank said in a press release.

The new branch, situated on the first and second floors of Plot No 55, Road No 123, Block CES (A), Gulshan Model Town, Dhaka 1212, was formally inaugurated by M A Kashem, Founder Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, as chief guest.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by current and former board members including Rehana Rahman, Jusna Ara Kashem, Duluma Ahmed, Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engr Khandker Badrul Hassan, Md Rafiqul Islam, Nominee of Asia Insurance PLC, and Sponsor Shareholder Sultana Kashem.

Speaking at the event, M A Kashem said the bank’s primary goal is to provide customers with a state-of-the-art, fast and secure banking experience. He said the relocation of the Gulshan Branch reflects that commitment, adding that customers will benefit from improved services in a modern and spacious environment.

The ceremony was presided over by Ishtiaq U Ahmed, EVP and Head of Gulshan Branch. Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Southeast Bank PLC, attended as special guest.

Additional Managing Directors, Deputy Managing Directors, senior executives, businesspersons, valued customers and local dignitaries were also present.

The bank said the relocated branch is equipped with modern infrastructure and advanced digital banking facilities, aimed at providing a full range of customer-centric services and strengthening its technology-driven banking strategy.

Through the expansion, Southeast Bank PLC said it expects to further enhance customer experience and reinforce its commitment to modern banking services and economic development.
