Sonali Bank PLC convened the 30th meeting of its Shariah Supervisory Committee at the bank’s head office board room on Tuesday.
Shariah Supervisory Committee Chairman Professor Zubair Mohammad Ehsanul Hoque presided over the meeting, according to a press release.
Committee members Professor Mohammad Nurullah, Mufti Mohammad Masum Billah, Mufti Md Maksudul Haque, and Professor Md Shahidullah attended the session.
Sonali Bank PLC Managing Director and CEO Md Shawkat Ali Khan were also present.
Members of the restructured Shariah Supervisory Committee were welcomed with flowers on behalf of the bank at the start of the meeting.
