The Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh has extended the service contract of its executive secretary, one of several decisions taken at the 3rd board meeting for the 2026-2027 term.
The meeting was held on Tuesday at the council’s office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, chaired by Chairman Md Rezaul Karim, said a press release.
The board approved the minutes of a regular meeting and an emergency meeting, as well as the council’s two-month accounts.
Vice Chairman Ataur Rahman Khan and Directors Ganesh Chandra Saha, Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan, Mohammed Nurussafa Mazumder, Ziaul Islam, K M Arifuzzaman, Sorowar Alam, Rafiur Rahman Khan Yusufzai and Mohammed Aminul Islam attended the meeting.
