Dhallywood stars Shakib Khan and Monowar Hossain Dipjol are set to reunite on the big screen after 12 years in filmmaker Himel Ashraf’s upcoming film.
The title of the film has not yet been finalised, but work on the screenplay and initial plans is reportedly progressing.
The two actors were last seen together in PA Kajal’s Lattu Kasai, released in 2014.
Their upcoming reunion has already generated excitement among film industry insiders and fans.
Himel Ashraf, who made a strong impact on the Dhallywood industry with Priyotoma in 2023 and Rajkumar in 2024, will direct the new project.
Both films were commercially successful, raising expectations for his latest star-studded production.
The film is expected to bring together Shakib’s leading-man appeal and Dipjol’s distinctive screen presence and villainous persona.

Shakib Khan was last seen on the big screen this year in Rockstar, although the film failed to achieve significant commercial success.
