Robo Life Technology claimed victory at the grand finale of the Startup World Cup Bangladesh 2025 at the International Conference Hall of Daffodil International University on August 14.

The winning team, led by Robo Life Technology team members Muhammad Mohiuddin Shourov, Joy Barua Lovelu, and Ayeesha Siddika, received an investment prize of Tk 50,000 and will represent Bangladesh at the global Startup World Cup in San Francisco, where they will pitch for a US$1 million investment prize.

The event, organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department of Daffodil International University, featured the top 15 startup teams from across the country. ‘Rocket Wave’ secured the 1st runner-up spot, while ‘WeGro’ claimed the 2nd runner-up.

The closing ceremony was attended by Dhaka Stock Exchange Chairman Mominul Islam as the chief guest and Daffodil Family Chairman Dr. Md. Sabur Khan as the guest of honor. Other notable guests included Daffodil International University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, and Pegasus Tech Ventures Partner William Reichert.

The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of both international and national experts, including Pegasus Tech Ventures Partner William Reichert and national judges like SME Foundation Deputy Managing Director Md. Nazim Hasan Sattar, Bangladesh Bank SME Division Director Nowshad Mustafa, and Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited CEO Shawkat Hossain.

Daffodil International University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department Head Md. Kamruzzaman Didar served as the country director, while Live Shopping CEO Md. Ashiq Khan was the program director.

This event highlights Bangladesh’s growing startup ecosystem, providing young entrepreneurs with a platform to connect with investors and stakeholders. It plays a crucial role in the country’s economic growth and the promotion of innovative businesses.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department of Daffodil International University continues to strengthen the country’s startup sector, contributing significantly to the national economy and employment.
