Brazilian winger Raphinha has been crowned the Best Player of LALIGA for the 2024/2025 season, following a brilliant campaign with champions FC Barcelona.
The 27-year-old was a key figure in Barça’s title-winning run. He scored 18 goals and provided 9 assists, playing a vital role in the team’s attack. His performances helped Barcelona reclaim the league crown in style.
Raphinha’s impact went far beyond just stats. He showed strong leadership and consistency, often stepping up in crucial moments. His efforts have now been recognised with the league’s top individual honour.
In the final vote, Raphinha beat a star-studded list of rivals. These included teammates Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Robert Lewandowski, as well as Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr., and Jude Bellingham. He also edged out Isco of Real Betis and Oihan Sancet of Athletic Club.
This marks Raphinha’s first major individual award in Spanish football since joining Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022. After a mixed debut season, he has now established himself as one of the league’s best.
With his future at Camp Nou looking bright, Barcelona fans will hope Raphinha continues to shine next season — especially with the club eyeing European success.
