Priyanka Chopra Jonas has unveiled a striking new look from Prime Video’s upcoming action adventure ‘The Bluff’, giving audiences their first glimpse of her in a fierce, blood-soaked pirate role. The newly released images highlight a dark and brutal tone and place the actor in what appears to be one of her most physically demanding performances yet.
Prime Video and Priyanka shared the first-look visuals on Wednesday. On Instagram, the actor introduced her character Ercell, also known as Bloody Mary, describing her as a mother, protector and pirate. Prime Video will premiere the film on February 25.

Another frame shows Priyanka smeared with blood and dirt, clutching a conch shell as a makeshift weapon. Additional visuals feature her scanning the horizon through a monocular and standing bloodied by a window with a gun in hand, underscoring the film’s gritty atmosphere.
Nick Jonas also shared the first look on his Instagram Stories, praising his wife’s performance and expressing his excitement for audiences to see her in the role. His message added to the growing buzz around the project, which quickly gained momentum online.
Fans flooded social media with reactions, applauding Priyanka’s transformation and celebrating her as a powerful female lead. Many highlighted her collaboration with the Russo Brothers and described the pairing as a promising one.
The Bluff is an R-rated action thriller set in the late 1800s Caribbean. Priyanka plays Bloody Mary, a former pirate queen who leaves her violent past behind to build a quiet life on a remote island. When her former lover and ex-captain Connor, played by Karl Urban, arrives seeking revenge, she must confront the ruthless side she tried to bury.
The cast also includes Temuera Morrison as Quartermaster Lee, an adviser to Captain Connor. The Russo Brothers produced the film through their AGBO Studios banner, with Angela Russo-Otstot serving as chief creative officer.
The project marks another collaboration between Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the Russo team following their work on the spy series ‘Citadel’.
