Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday inaugurated a doctors’ rally organised to mark the 37th founding anniversary of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB).
The prime minister inaugurated the rally at LD Hall of Jatiya Sangshad on Saturday morning, reports BSS.

Earlier, Tarique planted a neem sapling on the Jatiya Sangshad premises, while his wife, Zubaida Rahman, also planted a sapling there.
The prime minister then launched the next programme by hoisting the national flag as the national anthem was played. Before the rally began, Tarique and the other participants released two pigeons as symbols of peace.

LGRD and Cooperatives Minister and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Social Welfare Minister AZM Zahid Hossain, Prime Minister’s spouse Dr Zubaida Rahman, DAB President Harun Al Rashid and Secretary General Md Zahirul Islam Shakil were present, among others.
