The first session of the 13th parliament is set to resume on Sunday following the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays. The sitting will begin at 3pm at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
As part of Sunday’s proceedings, the ruling party’s parliamentary meeting will be held, along with a meeting of the special parliamentary committee on ordinances.
The session, which began on 12 March, was adjourned on 15 March due to Eid and other holidays.
On the third day of the first session, lawmakers are scheduled to discuss the thanksgiving motion on the president’s address, with participation from both government and opposition members.
The agenda also includes the ministers’ question-and-answer session and discussion on notices of national importance raised by MPs.
According to the Business Advisory Committee’s decision, the session will continue until 30 April.
