The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued a directive to continue providing free NS1 tests for the diagnosis of dengue in government hospitals until 31 December.
This information was shared in a notification released on Sunday, signed by Kazi Sharif Uddin Ahmed, deputy secretary of the Government Health Management-1 Branch under Health Services Division.
According to the official communication, public hospitals have been requested to take all necessary measures to ensure that the NS1 testing for dengue diagnosis remains free of charge until the end of this year.
The Ministry has forwarded the directive for awareness and implementation to relevant officials across the country, including the directors of medical college hospitals, civil surgeons, and upazila health and family planning officers.
