A place has been officially designated in the Uttara-12 City Corporation graveyard for burial of those killed in tragic aircraft crash at Milestone School and College on Monday.
The decision was made by Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday.
In addition to serving as the final resting place for those who lost their lives in the crash, the graveyard will be preserved as a memorial to honour the memory of the victims.
The interim government has ensured that the site will remain a symbol of remembrance for the lives lost in the catastrophic incident.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the death toll from Monday’s military aircraft crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara has risen to 31, with 165 others injured in the tragic incident.
