Litton Das is scheduled to play his 250th international match for Bangladesh in the first T20 International against Pakistan being held today in Mirpur. He becomes the seventh Bangladeshi cricketer to reach this milestone.
Bangladesh’s first-ever player to reach 250 international matches was Mushfiqur Rahim, who retired from ODIs in March 2025 with 474 caps across Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
Das made his debut in 2015 and has since accumulated the following:
- 41 Tests
- 90 ODIs
- 119 T20Is
for a total of 250 international appearances.
Mushfiqur Rahim leads all Bangladesh players with 98 Tests, 274 ODIs and 102 T20Is (total 474). Shakib Al Hasan has appeared in 71 Tests, 247 ODIs and 147 T20Is (465 total), while Tamim Iqbal (70/243/71 = 384), Mahmudullah Riyad (53/224/103 = 380), Mashrafe Mortaza (36/220/14 = 270) and Mohammad Ashraful (61/177/24 = 262) round out the top seven.
Today’s milestone showcases Das’s role as a key fixture across all formats. The first T20I against Pakistan will be his 119th in the format, part of a series that continues Bangladesh’s cricket season ahead of the T20I World Cup next year in India.
