The High Court (HC) has granted bail to former Narayanganj City Corporation mayor Selina Hayat Ivy in two cases filed with Siddhirganj Police Station.
A HC bench comprising Justice KM Zahid Sarwar and Justice Sheikh Abu Taher passed the order on Thursday.
Ivy was arrested from Chunka Kutir in the Deobhog area of Narayanganj city on May 9 last year. She was shown arrested in several cases, and later the HC granted her bail in five of them.
Those bail orders were later stayed by the Appellate Division.
On 18 November, she was again shown arrested in five more cases. The HC granted her bail in those cases on 26 February, but the orders were stayed following petitions from the state.
