The government has formed a five‑member cabinet committee to review and finalise the draft of the Cyber Security (Amendment) Act 2026, with Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam as convener.
According to a Cabinet Division notification, the other members are Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman, Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon, and Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman.
The committee has been tasked with examining the draft and submitting recommendations for its completion.
