Leaders of five ‘anti-fascist’ political alliance on Thursday night reviewed current political situation of the country and urged all stakeholders to remain united and cautious about any conspiracy aimed at destabilizing the country or attempting to foil sovereignty of the republic.
Islami Andolon Bangladesh ameer Mufti Syed Mohammad Rezaul Karim, peer shaheb of Charmonai called the meeting held at central office of IAB at Purana Paltan in Dhaka. It discussed political strategies for nation building and for maintaining stability of the country by adopting concerted political actions.
The leaders expressed solidarity and wish to extend full cooperation with ongoing reforms initiated by interim government chief adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus and opined that after necessary reform national election would be administered.
Ameer of Jamaat-I-Islami, Bangladesh Dr Shafiqur Rahman expressed solidarity with agenda of the alliance over cellphone conversation.
Among others, President of Gono Adhikar Parishad Nurul Hoque Nuru, Secretary General of IAB Hafez Mawlana Yunus Ahmed, presidium member Principal Mawlana , AB party secretary general Barrister Asaduzzman Fuad, secretary general of Khalafat Majlish Mawlana Jalal Uddin Ahmed, NCP’s senior joint convenor Ariful Islam Adib, Prof. Ashraf Ali Akhand, Mawlana Gazi Ataur Rahman.
