In observance of the month of Victory, DBL Ceramics organised an art competition titled “Shahid Abdul Kuddus Dulal Memorial: Canvas of Creation 2025” to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War.
The programme was held at the DBL Ceramics factory premises and featured artworks created by children of DBL family members, according to a press release.
The paintings reflected themes of the Liberation War, the sacrifices of the martyrs, and the vision of a prosperous Bangladesh.
The event was attended by DBL Group’s Vice Chairman MA Rahim, Chief Business Officer Mohammad Bayazed Bashar, renowned artists and professors from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Professor Nisar Hossain and Professor Sheikh Afzal Hossain alongside senior management of DBL Ceramics.
The competition was conducted in two age categories, 4 to 10 years and 11 to 15 years. Winners were selected based on creativity and age-appropriate benchmarks, and prizes were distributed by the distinguished guests.
Company leadership said that remembering the martyrs means carrying forward their ideals, adding that today’s children represent the future of Bangladesh.
