Cyberpunk 2077 will return in a new format with the launch of Cyberpunk Legends, a co-operative card RPG inspired by the hit video game. Developer Night Crew Games plans to release the tabletop game in Fall 2026.
The project began as a Kickstarter campaign and is now available for pre-order. The game supports one to four players aged 12 and above. It promises a fast-paced, story-driven experience set in the world of Night City. Players can complete missions, battle enemies, make choices and shape the story through their decisions. It also includes a dedicated single-player mode.
According to the developers, Cyberpunk Legends features more than 200 cards, damage and health trackers, a leader token and a rulebook. Night Crew Games also confirmed that artists created all of the game’s artwork and design by hand rather than using artificial intelligence.
Cyberpunk 2077 has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround since its troubled 2020 launch. Developer CD Projekt RED rebuilt the game’s reputation through major updates and the award-winning Phantom Liberty expansion.
The franchise has since expanded with a sequel in development and a second season of the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Cyberpunk Legends marks the latest addition to the growing franchise.
