In the last 24 hours, one new Covid-19 case has been detected in the country, with no new deaths reported during this period.
The detection was recorded from 8am Friday to the following 24 hours. The Health Services Division shared this information in a press release on Saturday.
According to the release, 110 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, with a positivity rate of 0.91%.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported that since January of this year, 27 people have died due to Covid-19, while the total number of detected cases has reached 699.
To date, a total of 2,052,244 people have been infected with Covid-19 in the country, and the nationwide death toll stands at 29,526.
