College admission: Results of first phase on Wednesday

Results of the first phase of online admission process for Class XI for the academic session 2025-2026 will be published on Wednesday night.

Around 10.73 lakh students have applied in the first phase of online application process in the academic year. After the verification and selection, the results will be published on the relevant admission website at 8pm

The committee related to admission to class XI and the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board confirmed this information on Tuesday.

According to the admission committee members, the applications for admission to class XI had been taken centrally in all colleges and madrasas in the country.

In the first phase, applications were taken from July 30 to August 15 at 8pm. The admission process is taken differently in technical educational institutions.

Meanwhile, the results of SSC and equivalent examinations were published on July 10. A total of 13,03, 426 students passed in 11 education boards. Later, 4,792 candidates passed the re-examination of the results. The total number of students who passed is 13,08,218.

Of these, 1,04,411 students passed SSC from the Technical Education Board. Excluding students who passed SSC from technical schools, 1,203,807 students passed SSC and Dakhil from schools and madrasas.

Besides, 1,30,471 students did not apply for admission to Class XI in the first phase despite passing SSC and Dakhil. After confirmation of admission, applications will open for the second phase to fill up the empty seats.
