The semi-final line-up for the FIFA Club World Cup has been confirmed, with four top clubs from four different nations advancing: Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Brazilian side Fluminense.

In a surprising yet welcome development, ticket prices for one of the semi-finals have been significantly reduced, allowing fans to enjoy elite football at a remarkably low cost.

Chelsea will take on Fluminense in the first semi-final, which is set to be played at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The match will kick off at 1:00 AM BST on Wednesday, 9 July. Initially, general admission tickets were priced at $473.90. That price has now been slashed to just $13.40.

FIFA has adopted a dynamic pricing strategy throughout the tournament. This model adjusts ticket prices in real time based on demand and crowd interest. As a result, prices have dropped sharply in matches where attendance has been more difficult to guarantee.

This is not the first time FIFA has used this approach during the competition. Quarter-final matches, including Fluminense vs Al Hilal in Orlando and Chelsea vs Palmeiras in Philadelphia, also saw tickets reduced to just $11.15 in an effort to boost stadium attendance.

However, the upcoming semi-final between Real Madrid and PSG is proving to be an exception. Madrid’s consistent ability to attract over 60,000 fans per match has kept ticket demand high. As a result, prices for that game begin at $199.60.

With global stars on display and a trophy on the line, FIFA’s ticketing strategy is giving supporters an unexpected chance to witness world-class football at an affordable price. For fans in the New Jersey area, it may be too good an opportunity to miss.
