Defence Adviser to the Prime Minister, Brigadier General AKM Shamsul Islam, PSC, G (retd), held a courtesy meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yao Wen, on Tuesday.
A delegation led by the Chinese ambassador met the defence adviser at his office at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment, said a press release.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged greetings and discussed matters related to technological and military cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
They also expressed optimism about further strengthening the existing defence relations and strategic partnership between the two countries.
