At dawn, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel and residents blocked their entry at the zero line, forcing the group to take a position in No Man’s Land.

Following the standoff, between 8am and 8:30am, the BSF took the individuals, consisting of two men and one woman, back into Indian territory. Their identities remain unknown.

The frequent recurrence of such push-in attempts in recent times has led to heightening levels of concern and anxiety among residents living in the border areas.
