Shooting for the telefilm Gohiner Dirghoshash has been completed in Sreemangal, known for its lush tea gardens and scenic hill roads.
The telefilm has been written and produced by filmmaker Mohammad Borhanul Ashekin, professionally known as Borhan Khan.
It is scheduled to air soon on a leading satellite television channel.
Directed by Farid Ahmed Rony, the telefilm features Elina Shammi, Al Mamun Rupantor, Badhon Khan, Rajib, Fahad Sardar, Rohan Sarkar, Sadia Amin Eka, Ikfat Sheikh Maria and Imran Sani in various roles.
S M Rony handled the cinematography.
The production was made under the banner of Dreams in Frame.
Speaking about the story, producer Borhanul Ashekin said Gohiner Dirghoshash is a deeply contemplative and realistic story that explores aspects of human life and is expected to leave a lasting impression on audiences.
Borhan Khan has previously produced and directed several television series, single-episode dramas, telefilms, commercials, short films and documentaries.
Alongside filmmaking, he is also a writer. His published works include the poetry collection Shobuj Prem, the thriller novel Operation Cargo Nix and Shishur Dekha 71.
