The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The squad, announced on Thursday, features just one change. Shak Mahedi Hasan has been left out from the side that played the most recent ODI series against Australia. The bowling all-rounder had been included in that squad due to an injury to Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

The squad has been built around Bangladesh’s regular ODI players and is close to full strength. Under Miraz’s leadership, the team includes seven specialist batters, along with two spinners, Rishad Hossain and Tanvir Islam.

The pace attack comprises Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana. Mustafizur does not play Tests, while Taskin, Shoriful and Nahid have been rested for the one-off Test against Zimbabwe, which begins on June 28.

The one-off Test will get underway in Harare on June 28. The three ODIs will then be played at the same venue on July 6, 9 and 11, with each match starting at 1:30 pm Bangladesh time. The three-match T20I series will be held at Queens Sports Club, with the games scheduled for July 15, 17 and 19, each beginning at 4:30 pm Bangladesh time.
