Ethiopia has invited Bangladeshi companies to invest in priority sectors, citing sustained economic growth and expanding opportunities.
The invitation came during a meeting between Foreign Affairs Adviser Khalilur Rahman and Ethiopia Ministry of Foreign Affairs Minister Gedion Timothewos in Addis Ababa, according to a message received in Dhaka.
Gedion highlighted Ethiopia’s continued economic expansion and identified key investment areas including renewable energy, agro-processing, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment manufacturing, and broader industrial sectors.
He urged Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to explore these areas, noting the scope for mutually beneficial partnerships.

The two sides also discussed cooperation on bilateral and multilateral platforms and agreed to deepen engagement through economic collaboration.
