Asiatic Laboratories Limited has announced the construction of a 32-storied high-tech building, Time Square – Dhaka, at 159/A Tejgaon Commercial Area, Dhaka.
The project, approved during a Board of Directors meeting on September 27, 2025, will be built on a 20 katha plot of land, the company said in a Dhaka Stock Exchange Disclosure.
The company also approved a Joint Venture Agreement between Asiatic Laboratories Limited, Headroom Limited (Bangladesh Consultant), and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) for the building’s construction.
The agreement was finalized at the head office of Asiatic Laboratories Limited on September 27, 2025.
Company officials said Time Square – Dhaka project aims to create a multi-purpose commercial complex with office spaces, a five-star hotel, a business center, restaurants, cafes, a swimming pool, fitness center, and 24/7 medical services.
The building will be equipped with a mobile app-based smart control system for security, managing access to offices, elevators, and parking.
The project is expected to attract foreign investors by offering integrated commercial space, banking facilities, and entertainment in one location.
Tejgaon, traditionally an industrial zone, is expected to become a major business hub, with the project boosting land prices and investment in the area.
The project will create thousands of jobs, spanning various fields, and provide local youth with opportunities to work in a high-standard environment.
The construction of Time Square – Dhaka is expected to increase investor confidence in Bangladesh by offering modern infrastructure for international companies.
