Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, according to BBC reports.
Police have been assessing allegations that emerged from the Jeffrey Epstein files, including claims that Mountbatten-Windsor shared sensitive information with Epstein during his time as a UK trade envoy, reports the Telegraph.
Witnesses reported that six unmarked police vehicles and around eight plain-clothed officers arrived at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate shortly after 8am.
The arrest is understood to have taken place on Mountbatten-Windsor’s 66th birthday.
