Akij Motors has been appointed the sole distributor of Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) products in Bangladesh, offering a full range of vehicles including 1.5-ton and 3-ton pickups, truck chassis, buses, and other commercial vehicles.

JMC is a renowned Chinese automobile manufacturer known for its commercial vehicles and trucks, with a strong presence in international markets, Akij Motors said in a press statement.

The official launch took place on 20 September 2025 at the Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) Expo, inaugurated by Industries Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan.

The event was attended by BCI President Anwar-ul-Alam Chowdhury Parvez, leading business figures, and distinguished guests.

Representing Akij Motors were CEO Sk Amin Uddin, Chief Business Consultant Saiful Islam Helaly, GM Operations Moin Uddin Ahmed, and Head of Sales Abdullah Al Jubair Prince.

Top business leaders praised Akij Motors for introducing world-class vehicles to the Bangladesh market, calling the milestone a major step toward modernizing the nation’s automobile sector.

At the event, a leading company signed a purchase agreement for 20 JMC vehicles for its distribution network, a deal expected to boost the automobile industry and strengthen JMC’s market position in Bangladesh.

Akij Motors also showcased other products, including Sinotruck vehicles, Akij Electric Motorcycles, electric vehicles, garage equipment, and spare parts.

“Akij Motors is the only company in Bangladesh providing all automobile-related services under one umbrella. This integrated service reduces customers’ hassle, saves time and money, and ensures the highest quality products and after-sales service,” said Akij Motors CEO Sk Amin Uddin.
