Malaika Chowdhury after her first hit cinema Shonddhikkhon is now set to appear in a second film named Khotipuron to be released on the YouTube channel of Cinemawala.
Shonddhikkhon was also released on the same platform.
“My first movie had more than one crore hits and, thus, I decided to go for this second movie,” she told reporters.
Malaika Chowhdury will partner with Yeash Rohan in Khotipuron, directed by Mohammad Mostatafa Kamal, who was also the director of her first venture. The cinema will be released before Eid-ul Adha.
Khotipuron and Shonddhikkhon are both directed by Kamal and viewers can expect another extraordinary movie. “I am delighted to have been asked to do the second movie,” said Malaika, adding that however Shonddhikkhon will remain as a landmark in my career.
The director is tight-lipped about the contents of the new movie, generating suspense among viewers.
The shooting, both in and outside Dhaka, ended on May 7.
