Six police officers, including four additional superintendents of police (Addl SPs) and two assistant superintendents of police (ASPs), have been transferred in a reshuffle.
The transfers were announced in separate notifications issued on Saturday by and signed by Raihan Uddin Khan, additional DIG of the Personnel Management-1 branch at Police Headquarters.
According to the notifications, Additional SP SM Al-Beruni has been transferred from Khulna to Police Headquarters, while Additional SP Md Hannanul Islam has been moved from the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) to Industrial Police.
Additional SP Farzana Imroz has been transferred from the PBI to Tourist Police, and Additional SP Mohammad Toyashir Jahan Babu from the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) to the Police Training Centre (PTC) in Khulna.
Among the two ASPs, Md Shamsul Alam has been transferred from Ramgati Circle in Lakshmipur to Godagari Circle in Rajshahi.
ASP Md Ali Arshad has been transferred from SRB to the Police Staff College in Dhaka.
According to the order, the transferred officers must hand over their respective responsibilities by 1 November. Those who fail to do so will be treated as stand-released with effect from 10 November.
