A new partial convener committee of Jatiya Nari Shakti, an associate organisation of National Citizen Party (NCP), has been approved following the dissolution of its existing committee.
The announcement was made on Sunday in a press release signed by NCP Office Secretary Sadia Farzana Dina.
The committee was approved by order of party Convener Md Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhter Hossen.
Under the new committee, lawmaker Mahmuda Alam Mitu has been appointed as convener, lawmaker Nusrat Tabassum as member secretary, and Advocate Monjila Jhuma as chief organiser.
The approved committee has been instructed to publish a full committee within the next 15 days.
