The first day of the ‘AI4BT Global Summit 2026’, a three-day executive summit held on Friday virtually, concluded with the participation of global leaders, visionaries and enterprise transformation practitioners.
The opening day featured keynote speeches, live demonstrations and round-table sessions on the future of AI, ERP transformation and Agentic AI, focusing on the shift from generic AI adoption to modern AI-native enterprise transformation, reads a press release.
Mahmudul Hasan, co-founder, CEO and Enterprise AI Transformation coach of AI4BT Global, opened the event by stressing the need for organisations to build scalable, AI-driven infrastructure.
Sadiq M Alam, Business AI Transformation Architect, founder and COO of Metamorphosis, shared insights from more than 18 years of experience in AI-assisted business transformation across Bangladesh, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom and other regions.
Mamun Morshed, Enterprise Agile Coach and Transformation Consultant, shared insights from his 20 years of global experience in enterprise agility, Project Management Office (PMO) governance and digital transformation, including his work with ALDO Group, Grameenphone, bKash and Airtel.
Joining from the United States, Sarah Cornette spoke on ‘AI Strategy and Responsible AI Governance for Enterprises’, sharing insights on AI governance and transformation roadmaps based on her experience in banking, financial institutions and risk-sensitive environments.
A major highlight was a round-table discussion titled ‘C-Level Thinking About the AI-Native Organisation’, which examined how business leaders should rethink strategy, workforce, operations, technology and management as they move towards AI adoption.
The discussion featured Md Abdur Razzaque, chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Dhaka; Asif Naimur Rashid, chief business officer of Grameenphone and board director of Sonali Bank PLC; Md Abul Hossain, retired group captain of the Bangladesh Air Force and former CEO of Supply Chain and Logistics; renewable energy expert and business leader Rafiqul Islam; Muztaba Sattar Ananta, founder and CEO of QSBL and convenor of BASIS Forum Quantum Safe; and Mark Anupam Mallick, management consultant, business strategist and AI speaker.
Following the panel discussion, Peter K Yoon, John Maxwell Certified Coach and Trainer and country director of ThanksCarbon Bangladesh, delivered a presentation on transformative leadership, drawing on his experience in technology, sustainability, leadership and community development.
Concluding the event, co-hosts Sadiq M Alam and Mahmudul Hasan announced the end of the first day, emphasising that the future of enterprises extends beyond merely using AI tools and urging organisations to transform into AI-native entities.
