The deceased, Abdul Barek, alias Baki, was the son of Sobahan Ali of Sajnai village in the upazila. He passed away on Wednesday morning at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
The incident took place on Saturday morning. According to reports, the dispute arose when Abdul Barek took his he-goat to bathe in a pond near his house. A neighbour, Rabiul Islam Robi of the same village, obstructed him.
