Rapper Badshah and actor Isha Rikhi have announced their divorce, just five months after getting married.
The couple confirmed their separation through identical statements shared on their respective Instagram Stories on 31 August, ending weeks of speculation surrounding their relationship.
Badshah said the decision to separate was mutual and made with respect for one another.
“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time,” the statement read.
The two also requested people not to speculate about the reasons behind their separation.
“This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship,” they added.
Badshah and Isha Rikhi had largely remained private about their relationship.
Reports about their marriage first emerged in March 2026 after photographs from their intimate wedding ceremony were shared online by Rikhi’s mother, Poonam Rikhi.
The couple was reportedly in a relationship for around four years before tying the knot.
Rikhi later confirmed the marriage during an Instagram Ask Me Anything session in June, although the pair continued to keep details of their personal lives away from the public eye.
Speculation about trouble in their marriage began circulating in July.
On 26 July, Rikhi shared a montage featuring photographs and videos of herself and Badshah, along with the caption, “Every storm is a lesson. Every prayer is hope,” accompanied by heartbreak and folded-hands emojis.
The post prompted speculation about a possible strain in their relationship, but neither of them commented on the rumours at the time.
Their latest joint statement has now confirmed that they have decided to go their separate ways, although they have not disclosed the reason behind their divorce.
This was Badshah’s second marriage. He was previously married to Jasmine Masih, with whom he finalised his divorce in 2020.
The former couple has a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh, who was born in January 2017.
Badshah and Rikhi have now requested privacy as they move forward separately.
