Israeli strikes across Lebanon have killed at least 32 people despite a ceasefire remaining in effect.
Lebanon’s civil defence agency said Israeli strikes killed 16 people and injured 12 others in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon on Saturday, reports Al Jazeera.
Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli attack on the village of Kfar Reman killed a Lebanese soldier.
The NNA also reported Israeli attacks in the Tyre district. An Israeli strike on the village of Barish killed four members of the same family — a father, a mother and their two children.
In a separate attack, an Israeli raid struck a house in Sohmor in the western Bekaa while a family was inside, killing four people and injuring one, according to the NNA.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s Health Emergency Operations Centre said an Israeli attack on Qanarit in Sidon district killed at least seven people and wounded 13 others.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said Israeli attacks on Friday killed 83 people and injured 141 shortly after the renewed ceasefire was announced.
Most of the casualties were reported in southern Lebanon, while others occurred in the eastern parts of the country.
