Young footballers aged 12-19 completed an intensive professional regime this week as the Next Gen Football Summer Camp 2025 concluded today at International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB).

Organised by Next Level Sports Management (NLSM), the three-day camp immersed participants in the demanding daily life of elite athletes. Coaches put players through rigorous training sessions focusing on core football fundamentals, strength and conditioning in the gym, and essential nutritional strategies.

AFC B and C licensed coaches, led by former Bangladesh Premier League player Coach Joseph, delivered personalised training and feedback. The programme stressed building both technical skills and mental confidence.

“This camp was about more than just drills,” an NLSM spokesperson said afterwards. “It gave these young players a deep dive into what it truly means to live like an athlete – mentally, physically, and emotionally.”

Participants tackled drills designed by experienced professionals and refuelled with specially prepared high-protein meals to aid performance and recovery. Each camper also received exclusive training kit merchandise from NLSM’s official partner, Dour.

Beyond the pitch, seminars like “Character Before Career” taught vital values such as respect, discipline, hard work, and humility. Sessions also explored potential football scholarship pathways abroad.

Bangladesh national team stalwart Topu Barman joined the camp, sharing his journey and top-level experiences during a meet-and-greet. He fielded questions and offered direct insights to the aspiring players.

Abid Alam Chowdhury- CEO and Founder of Dour was present along with Fahad Karim, Vice President of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), attended the closing ceremony today. His presence cemented the camp’s goal of linking grassroots football development with the national leadership.
