Mohammad Mithun lost his temper during the Bangladesh Cricket League One Day match between South Zone and North Zone in Rajshahi. The incident took place at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium.

While batting for South Zone, Mithun heard fans shouting “Dalal, Dalal” from the stands. He stopped play and walked toward the boundary. He looked upset. He spoke to some spectators near the rope. He seemed to ask why they were targeting him. After a short talk, he smiled and returned to the crease.

The crowd reaction links back to a BPL issue earlier this year. In January, the BPL stopped for one day after a controversial remark by BCB director M Nazmul Islam. Mithun, as president of the Cricketers Welfare Association of Bangladesh, led a boycott call. Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz stood with him. Mithun also faced questions about whether Tamim Iqbal supported the move.

Since then, Mithun and Miraz have faced taunts from some fans at different grounds. The same thing happened again in Rajshahi.

Even with the tension, Mithun batted well. South Zone batted first after losing the toss. They were all out for 144 in 30.5 overs. Mithun stayed unbeaten on 55 from 79 balls against North Zone.
