JICA Bangladesh officially announced the winners of its national-level photography contest, ‘My Bangladesh My Development,’ on 8 February 2026, and launched an online exhibition featuring 21 photographs that offer an insight into Bangladesh’s development history through the eyes of its citizens, JICA Bangladesh said in a press release.
The online exhibition provides visitors with the opportunity to explore different perspectives on development through captivating photographs. These carefully curated images shed light on both small and large changes that have shaped the Bangladesh we see today.
The contest called on photography enthusiasts and citizens from all walks of life to document Bangladesh’s developmental journey. From urban innovations to rural transformations, the photographs celebrate the resilience and spirit of the Bangladeshi people.
JICA critically examined each photo, focusing on those that highlight the nation’s growth and progress.
On the same day, a ceremony took place at JICA Bangladesh’s office to honour four outstanding works, recognising the photographers behind these powerful images.
The ‘My Bangladesh My Development’ online exhibition is now live, offering an engaging visual journey of the country’s progress. Visitors are encouraged to explore the exhibition and witness Bangladesh’s journey through the lens of its people.
