The country’s largest housing exhibition, REHAB Fair 2025, will open on 24 December at the China–Bangladesh Friendship Conference Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka, and run until 27 December, featuring 220 stalls from developers, building material suppliers and financial institutions.
The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) shared the details at a press conference at the CIRDAP auditorium on Thursday.
REHAB President Md Wahiduzzaman said the fair will include four diamond sponsors, seven gold sponsors, 10 co-sponsors, 14 building materials companies and 12 financial institutions, making it the largest edition of the event to date.
Responding to questions alongside him were REHAB Senior Vice President Liaqat Ali Bhuiya and REHAB Vice President-2 and Fair Committee Chairman Mohammad Akhtar Biswas, while several vice presidents, directors and senior leaders of the association were present.
Md Wahiduzzaman said REHAB has worked for more than three decades as a key partner of the government in infrastructure development, with member companies focused on ensuring safe housing for present and future generations.
He said the new Detailed Area Plan and Dhaka Metropolitan Building Construction Rules 2025 have removed many long-standing complexities and discriminatory provisions, restoring confidence among real estate developers and supporting long-term stability in the housing sector.
Expecting higher visitor turnout due to a three-day public holiday, he said the fair serves as a direct and credible platform for buyers and developers, offering a rare opportunity to compare project quality, location, facilities and investment potential in one place.
Visitors will be able to explore flats and plots, home loan facilities, financial institutions and modern construction materials, enabling housing-related decisions to be made at the fair itself, he added.
REHAB said it launched the housing fair in Dhaka in 2001 and this year’s event marks its 27th edition in the capital, alongside 16 fairs held in Chattogram, and multiple international fairs since 2004, including in the United States, United Kingdom, Dubai, Rome, Canada, Sydney and Qatar.
The association said the fairs have helped expand housing markets at home and abroad, supported foreign currency inflows and contributed to the growth of the housing sector and related industries.
Diamond sponsors of REHAB Fair 2025 are Asian Town Development, Eastern Housing, Sheltech and Tropical Homes, while gold sponsors include Asian Lands Development, Credence Housing, Navana Real Estate, Purbachal Probashi Palli, RANCON Real Estate, Rangs Properties and NorthSouth Consortium.
The fair will be inaugurated at 11 am on Wednesday, 24 December, at the Hall of Fame of the venue, with RAJUK Chairman Engineer Md Riaz Ul Islam as chief guest and National Housing Authority Chairman Mosammat Ferdousi Begum as special guest.
Visitors may enter the fair after the opening session on the first day, while on subsequent days it will remain open from 10 am to 9 pm.
Single-entry tickets will cost Tk50 and multiple-entry tickets Tk100, allowing up to five entries, with all proceeds allocated to corporate social responsibility activities for the underprivileged, alongside daily raffle draws and free refreshments for ticket holders.
