Bangladesh face India on Tueday with Shamit Shome restored to the starting XI. Shekh Morsalin also returns after recovering from injury, while Jamal Bhuyan and junior Sohel Rana drop out.
Hamza Choudhury keeps his place as expected. This is his seventh appearance for Bangladesh, coming after his brace against Nepal in the previous match. Once again, the team will look to the Leicester City midfielder for control and creativity.
The match kicks off at 8pm at the National Stadium in Paltan.
Tuesday’s fixture is part of the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. The sides drew 0–0 in their first meeting in Group C, a match in Shillong that marked Hamza Choudhury’s debut for Bangladesh.
