Three Bangladesh Air Force members were killed and four others injured in an accident at the third terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Monday night.
The Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the pickup van carrying the members lost control while on duty and fell from the flyover around 10:20pm.
The deceased were Warrant Officer Mahmud, Corporal Piyas, and LAC Zubaidul. The injured were Corporal Abu Sayeed, Corporal Mahbub, and LAC Ahad, all critically hurt, while senior officer Abul Khair sustained minor injuries.
Immediately after the accident, all injured and deceased members were transferred to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital for necessary treatment and subsequent procedures, the ISPR said.
