The government has issued a notification promoting 277 officials holding the rank of senior assistant secretary to the post of deputy secretary.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued two separate notifications on Monday to promote the officials to the deputy secretary rank.
According to the notifications, the promoted officials have been appointed as officers on special duty (OSD) at the Ministry of Public Administration after being posted as deputy secretaries of the goverment.
The promotion order said officials whose offices or workplaces have changed from those mentioned in the order must submit their joining letters by mentioning the names and addresses of their current workplaces.
It also said the authority reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion orders issued for any official if any adverse or contradictory information is found against them later.
The notifications said the newly promoted deputy secretaries can submit their joining letters directly or online to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administrations.
