Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus will be leaving for the UK on an official four-day visit on June 9, according to the CA’s Press Wing.
During this visit, he will be awarded the prestigious King Charles III Harmony Award.
The chief adviser is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street in London on June 11.
Later, on June 12, he will be visiting Buckingham Palace to meet with King Charles III.
It has been reported that, during Yunus’ visit, the Bangladesh government will seek the UK’s assistance in repatriating money laundered from Bangladesh.
The chief adviser is scheduled to leave London for Dhaka on June 13. He is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday morning, June 14,
