Keya Payel is in no hurry to walk down the aisle, saying she would rather leave marriage to fate and wait for the right person to enter her life.
Speaking to journalists on 5 October ahead of her first web film ‘Happily Married’, the actress said she has always trusted destiny and believes marriage will happen when the time and person are right.
“I always believe in destiny. When it is written in my fate, and with the person who is meant for me, I will not be able to change it even if I want to,” Payel said.
She added that marriage is not something she thinks about constantly, but she hopes to find a partner with whom she can spend her entire life.
For Payel, trust and mutual respect are essential to a lasting relationship. She believes disagreements are inevitable after marriage, but facing challenges together is what makes the bond meaningful.
‘Happily Married’, starring Payel and Arifin Shuvo, releases next Wednesday.
